Janice Galbraith moved from Vancouver, BC to Mexico in 1975. She worked in an exclusive Mexican beach resort for five years as the personal assistant to the owner. Cecilia Walters was born and raised in England, and found her way to Mexico via South America. Arriving Lakeside in 1978 with her two-year-old son, Nyah, she found she loved the friendly people, the great climate, and the general ambiance. Having educated her son here, she is familiar with the school systems both Lakeside and in Guadalajara. She began listing and selling Lakeside properties in 1990. Therefore her knowledge of applicable real estate laws, local customs, and the local housing market is extensive.

Emily is originally from the Toronto area. After completing a degree in Philosophy from Trent University in 1989, she hit the road. She travelled coast to coast in Canada, and ended up on a tiny island in British Columbia where she lived for two years. In 1992, cabin fever set in after a long, grey, wet and cold winter. Emily decided to visit her adventurous parents - runs in the family - who had purchased a historic home in The Village of Ajijic several years earlier. And the rest, as they say, is history. Mark Turford, originally from London, England, is a dual citizen of the United Kingdom and Mexico. He came here in 1991 and married Claudia. During his years here, Mark has enjoyed being involved in research, teaching, and public speaking assignments in the Mexican and expat community. Lynn is from Dallas where he graduated from Woodrow Wilson high school and the University of North Texas. He has 42 years of experience in the architectural field, including 32 years heading up his own firm in the Uptown area of Dallas. Before moving to Mexico, he held a Texas real estate license. Lynn has given his time and resources to numerous business organizations and charities by serving on their boards.
